⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Facilities ⭐️ Access The facilities are great, but it’s hard to get there. If you are driving, there may not be enough parking places, and there’s no much around the area as an alternative. It’s in an isolated place. The public transport is not convenient either. From Cambridge, you have to take a local train & then a shuttle bus. I think there were only 3 buses in the morning. If you miss them, there are no buses until the evening. I decided to take a taxi from Cambridge (£30), but the service is quite bad (CamCab). I booked a taxi 2 weeks in advance & it arrived 30 mins late & then it took me to a church in Hinxton. I had to open Google Maps & help the driver. I was also confused because there are no indications in the road for the Conference Center. It is inside the Genome Center, so follow those signs. There’s a security barrier to get inside the Genome center, so the taxi driver wanted to drop me there, but they can actually get inside and drive all the way to the conference center for drop offs. My taxi on the way back must have been confused as well because it arrived 1 hour late ⏰ Central Cambridge or London would be a more convenient location for a conference.
