The actual doctors are ok, clean building but some (not all) of the reception are extremely rude. Because it’s NHS I think they think it’s acceptable to treat you how they like! Very rude and very unprofessional, act like they hate being there and you are no one, luckily I don’t visit with mental health probs or who knows what affect their awful attitude could have. Wow this is how it is these days to visit or call your GP on a Monday afternoon! Personally think those salaries belong to someone who actually deserves it!

The worst place EARTH. You will have to be near DEATH before you can get to see or speak to a doctor. Also, when speaking to the receptionist she/he is talking to you like they are doctors. They are basically brushing you away.

I've always found the doctors and nurses here helpful but it is now almost impossible to get an appointment. The booking system online rarely has any appointments and as others have said the phone lines cannot handle the volume of calls. Meaning you can call several times a minute for an hour before the phone even connects and then there are no available appointments. Broken underfunded, oversubscribed GP practice.

When I joined the telephone queue, I was at position number 5. 2 hours and 20 minutes later, I reach position number 1 but I’m still waiting for someone to answer the phone! I’m fed up of this practice, it’s almost impossible to get an appointment. I have tried using the app but it’s just as useless. When you finally do get an appointment, the waiting time is about 15 days and that’s just to have a telephone consultation.

How is this surgery, (I call it that loosely) stlll going. I have attended here for over 20yrs and since so called epidemic it has declined so thoroughly that it should be taken over or closed. Surely there is accountability when it comes to patient care. It's a travesty that they are getting away with such poor patient quality of care. I would like to know how many people have died due to the inefficiency of this place. Can't be bothered to list all the times I've rang and got no answer... Heads up people they turn the phones off... You will never get an answer unless you go there... There are never any patients waiting, just a gaggle of receptionist pretending to be busy. I've tried escaping this place but seems other good surgeries are in the know and are always full. The ones that will accept are just as bad. If I was a nurse or doctor there I would be ashamed to say...

Terrible surgery. Impossible to get seen. I booked a telephone appointment and the GP never called. I had to wait a week for a 10 minute phone appointment and they never actually bothered to call me. What a useless service.

The worst GP practise I have ever had the misfortune to be registered with. Utterly inefficient booking system. Only telephone appointments available to book on the app. Hours and hours wait to be called after appointment time. Weeks with appointment system down. I have no doubt patients at this partnership will have poorer health outcomes as a result of this severely mismanaged partnership.

The rudest GP service of all time. No appointments on patient access, huge phone queues, then see people get shouted at when turning up at the surgery at 8am (as they’ve been advised to do). All of the reception staff, without fail, are rude. In trying to get an appointment for my one year old I’ve seen the elderly and pregnant be laughed at by staff members for daring to ask for help. Avoid at all costs.

Very happy with my experience here. The reception team i found very helpful and Dr Jo Davies was very efficient, thorough and personable. She is a great addition to the team.

Update on my last review - first attempt to get an appointment took 35 mins (76 calls!) to connect, a 20 min wait in the queue, and then told no appointments. Second attempt took 30 mins (53 calls), a 12 min wait in the queue, and I managed to get a phone appointment today. The appointment was on time and really helpful. It's such a shame that it's so painful to even get in the phone queue, and seemingly pot luck when your call is connected and therefore whether you can get an appointment. I have found the care good when I can access it, but total of over 90 mins of dialling and hoping to get a phone appointment is pretty poor. It would be great if their system could handle more calls on hold rather than just hanging up repeatedly, once on hold I can get on with work or other things but until then you have to repeatedly dial until you get through.
