    Have bought Auricula's from HHP on several occasions now. Plants have been healthy, disease free and excellent quality. Unlike other reviewer no issues with the method of packaging, described in detail on the website, which is eco-friendly and protects the plants well during transit. Recommended.

    I ordered some plants by mail order and they arrived yesterday in a large cardboard box in which the plants were buried in thousands upon thousands of tiny pieces of shredded paper, from which it proved very difficult and time consuming to extract them. There was no way of getting the plants out of the box - or even FINDING the plants - without very carefully digging out the shredded paper, which was impossible to do without a lot of it falling on the floor, and not into the bin bag I was trying to move it into. I also inadvertently broke off a couple of bits of foliage buried in the shredded paper - you simply couldn't see it. I can only imagine that the people who were daft enough to pack plants like this have never actually tried to unpack them. I buy a lot of plants by mail order, and this was the worst packaging I have seen. It made a huge mess, and it took me 40 minutes to extract the plants and then clear up and dispose of the packaging, by which time I was absolutely furious. Presumably using shredded paper is meant to be eco-friendly, but they really need to think again. I certainly won't be ordering any more plants from Hillview.

    This nursery is a plants person's delight. Just plants and such well grown plants. I went for a visit to buy some auriculas and ended up buying 6. Now they weren't the cheapest on the internet, but each plant had multiple offsets, so I have ended up dividing the plants and the price by up to 5 times. I have no experience of ordering over the internet, but looking at the stock every plant looked loved. I will become a regular visitor and buyer.
