I used The Probate Partnership/Hillman Legal to handle a Probate case. A "Legal Executive, Probate Consultant & Will Writer" was assigned to my case. It was an awful experience. Incompetent, huge delays, poor standard of work, multiple errors, no attention to detail, and poor communication. The Management/Directors were not interested in recognising the problems, or rectifying them. I persevered with the company hoping their service would improve, it didn't. A large discount on the final bill was negotiated, and they still didn't admit they were at fault. Even the VAT invoice (which I had to request four times) was incorrect. This company made what was already an emotionally challenging time far more stressful and upsetting. I am sure they will reply to this blaming "a complex case", however I would advise anyone to avoid this company. They are the most incompetent 'professional' company I have ever dealt with.
