Lovely plants and useful displays... most staff helpful and friendly apart from one mean till assistant/manager who was unkind unhelpful and dismissive when my friend and I visited on a Thursday in May ... plant displays and offers were a bit misleading since asked a member of staff about the 4.99 pots at 3 for £12.50 deal...he went out if his way to enquire fir us as he could see we both had mobility issues... he asked at the tills and relayed back that it was really just alpines 3 for 12.50 and bedding 3 for 12.50 but if we mentioned at the tills we had spoken the offer would apply for a mixture...but when we did get to the tills we were denied the deal...and to add insult to the disappointment I had left one of my 9 plants at the display so lost out on the deal ... I asked if somebody could help me fetch another BUT the mean till staff lady said no I would have to hobble back there myself... I couldn't as I was in a lot of pain by this time and so left with a bad taste and one less plant than I intended... my friend was denied the deal on her 3 plants...such a shame Webbs normally has excellent customer service but this person was horrid and unhelpful

3 stars for overall visit. Nice selection of outdoor plants, great pet room mostly geared for dogs with supplies for cats, smaller mammals. Very small selection for wild birds. Nice home area and cafe. Cafe has slow slow service, great coffee and cake selection, Caesar salad was abysmal, lettuce leaves whole, chicken boiled and inedible, smothered in so much sauce and cheese was over powering. Charged £10.99 for it, no one to complain too. The 4 anchovies were nice :-) bought compost, someone is supposed to help you with this to make sure you take right one and amount. No one to help anywhere :-( Plenty of parking and apparently only service dogs allowed in
