We have been using Hillcrest kennels for a year now. Our 3 dogs absolutely love coming to stay and its reassuring when the dogs pull you up the path, wagging their tails enthusiastically, to say hello to the ladies. Last week our dogs forgot to say goodbye to us, they happily went off and didn't look back. Thank you Sarah, Graham and staff.

Delighted with the wonderful care given to our two lively pups. Very impressed that a lot of consideration was given to which sleeping area would be best for them. The staff clearly really care and we were so grateful to receive advice on a better way to walk our boys who have a tendency to pull. A figure of eight lead was suggested and it works! Thanks so much and we look forward to bringing them again soon.

Our dog Nala, a collie/German shepherd cross has stayed at Hillcrest many times over the last 4 years. I cannot praise or thank them enough for their care and attention. Nala is happy there and I can relax knowing she is safe and well looked after. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah/ the team at Hillcrest.

Our lab absolutely loves going to Hillcrest! She knows she is going 'on her holidays' when her bed and food are packed up and she is so excited! She loves meeting other dogs and people and it is always a joy knowing that she enjoys her stay here.

My 2 cats stayed here for a 4 night stay. Unfortunately I did not go and visit the cattery due to the circumstances under which I booked, but I should have done. The staff, when I called, were always friendly and helpful but my cats returned not happy, in fact, the larger cat out of the 2 I would say was traumatised. I cannot comment on the cleanliness of the pens as when I went to collect the cats, the gate was locked in front of me meaning I could not gain access to the pen. My cats were loaded into their boxes and brought out to me. We gave instructions as to how the cats were to be fed, but these were not followed, I have no idea why. Whilst we were there another person arrived to collect their dog, and the dog seemed happy so I’m guessing it had a good stay. My opinion, possibly not the best place for cats, I believe they cater more for the canine customer than the feline.

Excellent kennels, I was very apprehensive, as not left the boys before! Sarah and the girls were all very professional, made you feel at ease, and the boys relaxed! They seem to enjoy there stay, came home very happy, healthy, and got straight back in to there daily routine, would not hesitate to take them to Hillcrest in the future Thank you x
