My mother spent three weeks following a fall and fractured arm. At first I was very anxious as it was the first time, my mother had spend any time in a residential setting. The rooms were adequate, the showering facilities could be improved, however the atmosphere and the care given by all the staff was exceptional. It really felt like a home, I spent many hours there as my mother suffers with anxiety and depression, so I got to see a lot of staff client interaction. Clients were treated with kindness and respect. Great care was given to promote wellbeing and maintain dignity. Time and effort was spent providing entertainment to enrich the clients experience. All the staff were great special thanks to the receptionist at the entrance, the domestics dealing with clothing, catering who were so keen to please, nursing and management. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Don't waste your time with this company, after viewing and being offer a very nice room which we accepted, we then went through the long review process over a two week period, only to be told now today that 'no' that room cannot be taken as we have no staff, but we can offer you a small KCC room which, we assume has staff, all very strange.

Milbeck is a wonderful place. The staff in all departments from management to domestics. Everyone made mam feel very welcome and she was treat very well. I would not place mam for respite care anywhere else. Thank you to all at milbeck residential home in Norton.

We have been 4 times now to visit my partner’s Auntie, and every time we go we find the place spotless, all the residents content, and all the staff so friendly & caring, not only to the residents, but towards us as visitors, too. It’s a lovely home; I am a registered nurse and I can honestly say it’s the best home I have ever visited.
