Always greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel like I’m in safe hands! The knowledge held by Richard and his team is both deep and interesting, and the work undertaken is exceptional. I strongly recommend Hillarys Coachworks for any bodywork needed on your vehicle, new or classic.

Used service to repair my car when it was was hit by side unfortunately and doors needed work. Estimate from Hillary's was apt (expect VAT) and only included the spares and parts absolutely needed. Paintwork finishing is perfect and delivered the car on committed timelines. I had many questions, but management always answered them patiently and with smile. 100% satisfied with job done and service. Thanks Hillary's coachwork Team. Service: Painting

Dishonest business, gave estimate of around £500, when picked up car total was well over double, no notification of increase whatsoever before doing work, scamming you out of a lot of money.

Hillarys was one of the very few companies that had the expertise to work on my vehicle. My insurer struggled to find any of 'their' repairers to take on the work on what they called a classic car (1997 Nissan Skyline) Richard and his skilled team took on the work and patiently waited for parts shipped direct from Japan. Once they had all the necessary items the work was complete in good time and to an amazing standard as they work on prestige/rare vehicles daily. It is hard to find a company like this that has been run by the same owner (40 years) and that offers you a cup of tea religiously on arrival. The 1.5hr drive to the companies HQ was worth the effort as the car has been returned to better than before the accident. Additional items were flagged and even dealt with during the job as good practice. Communication was very good and prompt with all prices being very clear. Brilliant work, brilliant ethos and management. A1.

Great workmanship repairing the bodywork. One complaint:- Only after the work was completed was I told that my quote was excluding VAT. The proprietor knew I was a consumer (not a business) and so the quote should have been the final price inclusive of VAT. There was zero mention of it being Ex-VAT. It's a misleading omission under The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. Again, zero complaints about the quality of the work, but I felt disappointed that I had to pay more than what I had agreed and reasonably assumed to be the price.
