I booked through Hildenborough Station Taxis, who have the same web page as the above. My booking was confirmed by email and a price of £55 agreed by the company for a journey from Gatwick Airport to Hildenborough. Whilst away in Italy, we contacted them with a query and they claimed not to have received the booking, although we fortunately still had their confirmation email. On the night of return to Gatwick, the driver insisted that the fare was, in fact, £78. His manner was angry and fairly confrontational so I paid this amount. Admittedly our flight was delayed and there were problems with road closures, but I will never book with this firm again.
