Overall the course was disappointing unfortunately and certainly not worth the fee. Prior to the course day, a few YouTube videos were sent to us and I found those videos of no value whatsoever. The premises where the teaching was held was in need of much maintenance and overall shabby. The first hour, each trainee on the day was taken for a private chat to the person teaching the course and this was a complete waste of time. It was a 1 to 1 sales consultation/pitch to sell some gadgets they had and a course on how to use them. Then we were made to watch the same pointless youtube videos and signposted to Google and YouTube for information and teaching with no advice on credible websites for information on such a vast source of both truly educational and many bogus sources. Whilst watching these videos, the trainer sat at the front munching on a bag of crisps making noise with the rustling of the crisp packet which was so distracting. I appreciate the information sent to us on a PDF on WhatsApp of some health and safety regulations and first aid but you had to buy it on the day for £5 if you didn't have it. A book which actually teaches about hijama was also being sold. I didn't pay £500 for a book to be sold to me on hijama. Much information in the book was in Arabic text which if you are an non-arabic reader or speaker, its difficult to interpret. There was almost ZERO theory on the performance of hijama, technique, sunnah points on the day. It was read the pre-course material sent on WhatsApp and self teaching. If you get stuck, get onto Dr Google. There was a large portion on theory on acupuncture, reflexology points on the face, ears, feet and there are nothing to do with hijama!! I paid to learn about hijama points. The practical session was okay. During the lunch break we were sent to a different room spending almost half an hour with the wife of the trainer trying to sell more products and training on beauty treatments. I'm quite disappointed.
