    Nearly was run over by one of their lorries at a crossing where the lights where red for vechiled. The elderly drivers was using his phone and rummaging through paperwork. I had to shout at him to stop it he would of hit my daughter in her buggy. He also nearly went into the back of a car further down the road, again , using his phone. This us why I don't drive when llorrys are about as they forget they are driving. This driver would of had 18 points had the police seen him. I have reported this and have photos of him on phone as well as film to prove had was driving and not looking at the road.

    I used Highways twice and then decided to move my custom elsewhere. Both occasions were emergency fixes and Highways were the only local garage I was aware of at the time. The staff were polite and the work was prompt. The first job was a fuel pump replacement and this immediately resulted in a faulty fuel gauge on the dashboard. The fuel gauge now only shows half full when I've refilled at the pump, and this slowly goes up to 3/4 full whilst I driving away from the petrol station. It never reaches 100%, but stops at 3/4 full. This faulty fuel gauge happened immediately after picking up the car from Highways. When I raised this with Highways their immediate response was that their work with replacing the fuel pump was unrelated to the now faulty fuel gauge (which previously never had any issues). They were very dismissive and were not willing to accept that the new issue could have been caused by their work, given that both were in the same area of concern with the fuel tank. They suggested that I bring the car in to have it fixed at an additional cost. Whilst we will never know whether Highways work on the fuel pump replacement was the cause of the now faulty fuel gauge, I eventually decided to take my business away from Highways, as their attitude came across as being keen to secure another paid job instead of ensuring/checking the quality of their previous work, which may have caused the new issue.

    Since the first time I used this garage 2 years ago after an accident, I have kept coming back! I’ve had my last three MOT’s done here and the service is always top notch. Of course I have to give Susie a special mention as her customer service skills are amazing. The garage is run so smoothly, Just as quick as my car goes in, it comes back, no unnecessary waiting or inconveniences which is always a plus. I highly recommend their services and will continue being a returning customer for all my car needs!
