Highlands Surgery is the best, that is why I have ensured that when I move in the very near future I am within their boundary so as I can keep them as my doctors and nurses. I have complete faith in all of them. It is easy to book an appointment, I do mine online, order prescriptions and if you are in real trouble or need advice or help the receptionists are very efficient and go out of their way to help. I am 87 and feel safe in their hands. I think they are all stars in my opinion as previously I have had really bad experiences at other surgeries.

Recently moved to the area and I have found everyone I've encountered here to be approachable, polite, professional and with a genuine desire to help. Wait times aren't that long really in comparison to last county. There are options if genuine medical emergency or clinically urgent. Reception was brilliant at getting an appt when I really needed one. Nowadays, With so many patients on the books, there are long wait times at every GP surgery and hospital in the country. I'm happy to have found such a lovely surgery.

Avoid this surgery like the plague! It used to be okay, but now it is the worse I have ever experienced. The only doctors you are likely to see are locums and if you get your prescriptions on time you are just lucky.

Waiting times for a call from the doctor over 4 weeks - they referred me to an eye clinic (I had no idea) the clinic told me i had diabetes - surgery still doesent know anything about it and I'm still waiting for a call from the doctor. Visiting them and highlighting my case i was told there is nothing wrong - the doctor will call you - 1 week later - NOTHING - this place needs investigating

Unusable nowadays. Filled in symptoms online. Told to book an appointment with MSK specialist. Call the surgery and a computer says book online then cuts off. Go online, it says to open a booking account call the surgery. Emails are not replied to. 2 weeks now and I can’t contact them to even ask for an appointment.

Booking system needs sorting out. No doctor available for 7 days. Went down in person they said I'd have to phone for an appointment. Been on the phone for 100 minutes and still waiting. Now that I have seen an excellent doctor I am amending my review. I have been looked after thoroughly and with care, thankyou.

Really like this surgery and it’s one of the best ones in the area. The top things are; - friendly staff - efficient vaccination clinics - online booking system for gp/nurse/vaccination appointments but can also do by phone - regularly updated and informative website
