I don't have enough words to describe how incredible our Outlander tour was with Highlander Tours! Andy was so kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about all things Scotland and Outlander. He made my fiancé and I feel so welcome on our first ever trip to Scotland and the tour far surpassed our expectations! We 1000% would recommend anyone take a tour with him if you're looking for a tour through Scotland. People: book a tour with Andy the Highlander. HOWEVER: take all your other tours first; most of them will hopefully be great. Ours were. We did a whisky tasting tour from Inverness, a walking tour of Old Town Edinburgh, and a whisky tour of Edinburgh (you may have noticed a theme...). We had a lovely time, especially on the latter. My point is, once you are treated to the Highlander Tours experience - anything else will be very *ordinary*. You can read the other reviewer's experiences. It is actually all that and more. From Andy's EA Lilly, to Ana, to Sean, to Andy, the whole team makes the dream work! Listen, we're Aussies. We're not highly paid Aussies. We're a very ordinary mum & dad, finally a little freer, financially and responsibility-wise, and able to travel. The trip was actually to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. This tour was expensive for us. Like, I-didn't-tell-my-husband-how-much, expensive. My husband has never watched Outlander and is not a fan. I've read all the books, and enjoyed the series, but I'm not the kind of fan with the ringtone and screensaver, if you get my meaning. I was a little worried how 'Outlandish' the tour might be. Well, I needn't have worried. My husband had A BALL. Andy, aside from being a repository of historical names, dates and intrigue, is A HOOT. Andy knows all the Outlander material, but he also knows *Scotland*, and obviously loves his home. And that is contagious. SO, travel Scotland. Take tours all over. But before you leave Scotland, book a tour with Andy the Highlander. DO. NOT. MISS. Also, I kinda want to be mates with Andy and Ana and Sean and just hang out and drink whisky with them forever now :-)

we were on a one day Outlander tour with Andy. the day was great! Andy is very nice, told a lot about the filming locations, also about his own experiences on the set. He took us to eat at the red lion inn where the food was really good! the whole day was great. thanks to the whole Highlandertour team!

I had the opportunity to take Andy's "Outlander" tour and it was the BEST tour I have ever taken! (FYI: I have taken tours in England, Ireland, France, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and around the US.) Andy is more than knowledgeable about Everything Outlander as well as Scotland in general. Because there are no more than 8 participants per tour, the atmosphere was friendly and personalized. Our tour was never felt rushed nor did it drag. Andy loves his job and it is evident. Book this tour or any of his others and you will not regret it.

I met Andy through a Tik Tok video when I was starting to plan my trip to Scotland. I was touched by the way and the passion with which he shared the Scottish culture. Without thinking about it I booked a guided tour with him and it was the best decision I could have made, it was a dream come true as Andy takes you by the hand through the history of Scotland, the locations of Outlander but also the culture , learn to fight with a sword, wear a kilt. everything was perfect, the best tour ever. Andy is AMAIZING

Best tour ever! My husband and I signed up for the one day Outlander tour. Andy entertained us the minute we got inside the van until we ended the tour. Not only did he entertain an Outlander super fan like me, but he was able to thoroughly entertain every single person on the tour (even my husband who had never watched Outlander). He is an excellent story teller and has a vast knowledge of Scotland and it’s history. My only regret is that I didn’t do a three day tour! Thank you Andy and Lilly! We will definitely be back for another tour!

As first time guests of Scotland, we felt like to truly appreciate not only the beauty but the history we needed to take a guided tour. Seeing so many positive reviews, we booked a 2 day private tour with Andy. His joy and love for Scotland is infectious and we ended our two day tour wishing we had booked a longer tour. We spent two days with Andy exploring the Highlands and the Edinburgh and surrounding areas. It was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to the UK. We had an amazing time. Andy is fun, friendly and super knowledgable about the history and sites of Scotland. We felt like we spent two days with a great friend touring Scotland. We highly recommend Andy and his tours! (The snacks were great too!)
