I provide club secretary services for free and therefore understand why our coach may take exception to people trying to take advantage of freebies from a small club who can't readily afford them.

Phoned Tony to talk over how the course works etc. and found him incredibly hostile and offended when I asked if I could attend mid way through a term. Asked when the new term started and if I could come for a taster session, not even to partake but to see how the whole experience would work as this would be totally knew to me, Tony then began to berate and laugh as he said ‘I’m clearly never going to make money out of you am I?’ And ‘You must know what it’s like to be poor’. I said I meant him no offence and said I hope to enjoy the sessions, he replied ‘And if you don’t then hopefully I’ll never see you again.’ Never went. Don’t waste your time on a waster.
