The worst service and staff communication, I made 3 appointments for my kids however, today they told me that I have just one appointment, it was a big confusion to my little ones.

My daughter who is 8 has got a very bad tooth giving her lots of pain, and they were fantastic, giving her 2 emergency appointments on the days I rang, which was 2 days in a row. They are also so lovely there and my child feels very comfortable there!!!

To be completely honest I hate dentists and I hate going to them and after reading some of the reviews I was a bit skeptic but…. 10/10! The dentist was very calm and made me feel calm. Knowing that I am scared of needles she knew to tell me to close my eyes when putting in the anestesia, we’d speak in between things happening which made me feel more calm and was always sure that everything was alright in between visits. Also, she reinforces different things you do which makes you feel much more at ease.

I don’t know why people are crying about. They want the fluff, this is not the place. I rather have a dentist that gets the job done than a best friend. So someone who gets your teeth sorted IS patient care not the fact they did not laugh at your joke or asked you how your life is going. They are dentists not therapists.

Efficient treatment by Dr. Ruby, very clear explanation and never made me feel I have to book private care asap which other dentists usually do. Trustworthy. No frills, but provide essential care.

I can’t comment on the dentist who seemed friendly and knowledgeable. However the young receptionist had a bit of an attitude... not friendly at all.

I was a bit worried after seeing some negative reviews of this practice but my dentist was fantastic, friendly and professional. Will be using this practice from here on in!

A fair assessment of this practice would be: gets the job done, but nothing more. Don't expect excellent patient care. I was seen by Dr Prateek Akhoury and I'm afraid to say his online bio is inaccurate: 'I especially enjoy making anxious patients feel at ease and provide the treatment required at your comfort.' He gave me a frosty time. Efficient, yes, but it was so awkward that I attempted to make some small talk. This was ignored. I'm used to businesslike dentists but I had never encountered one who didn't make you feel welcome. Perhaps the two Dr Shahs are different? I do get the feeling, however, that this is an unhappy practice. The receptionists are the unfriendliest I've ever come across at a dental surgery. It was also the first time I had been scolded for coming early! She looked irritated when she opened the door and gave me a big sigh. I mean, I went 15 minutes early to fill in forms in the empty waiting area, not an hour. Why so upset? If you really do want to join, I would request appointments with one of the Dr Shahs, turn up only a few minutes early, be prepared for an unwelcoming receptionist, and by all means book with the hygienist as she's excellent. I don't think I'll be returning, even for dentists to get the job done. I'd be paying too much to not get treated well!
