FAQ

What types of boarding options do you offer for horses?

We offer both full and part boarding options for horses. Our full boarding includes daily turn-out, stall cleaning, feeding, and basic care. Our part boarding allows owners to take care of their horse during certain days of the week while we take care of the rest.

How often are the stables cleaned and maintained?

Our stables are cleaned and maintained daily to ensure a clean and healthy environment for the horses. We also schedule regular deep cleanings to ensure the stables are thoroughly sanitized.

Do you provide feeding and care services for horses or is it the owner's responsibility?

We provide feeding and basic care services for horses as part of our full boarding option. However, owners are also welcome to provide their own feed and supplements if they prefer. If the owner chooses our part boarding option, they are responsible for providing care during the days they are taking care of their horse.

What kind of training or activities do you offer for horses?

We offer a variety of training and activity options for horses, including riding lessons, ground work, and trail rides. We can also work with owners to develop a customized training plan for their horse based on their specific needs and goals.

What is your policy for veterinary care in case of an emergency?

In case of an emergency, we will immediately contact the owner and the on-call veterinarian. We will follow the veterinarian's instructions and take any necessary actions to ensure the health and safety of the horse. Owners are responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred during emergency care.

I done a 9 hour job trial here yesterday, I was told today I was unsuccessful, when I politely asked the owner would I be paid for yesterday for working solid for 8 hours, I was told no they don't pay job trials. Might I add no health and safety forms were filled out when I arrived or prior to the trial, no details taken, just my first name, my age wasen't asked the whole time. No checks were made or ID checks, I could have been anyone and that's really bad having just anyone around horses, you want people working with animals to be checked/be asking for ID at the least to make sure they are who they say they are. In the event of an incident or injury yesterday they wouldn't have been able to contact any of my emergency contacts as it would have been unknown information to them. While I was working yesterday I was told they were short staffed and to go over to the livery section to help, this job is a very physical job as anyone in the equestrian world would know, so to be short staffed and to be there for 9 hours on a trial shift is a very intense long day for someone doing a trial. When I asked how many people had been on trials I was told quite a lot and a few had left a few hours in. Seems to be a total mick take. I grafted so hard yesterday. No employer should be making candidates do such excessive trial periods or if they do then at least pay them for working a full shift. I've no idea how many people this has happened to now but I know they said quite a lot have been on trial shifts.. quite shocking really.
