Lovely receptionist which unfortunately you can't say for most places now. I have been here since I was young and if anything its improved over the years rather than the other way. I'm so happy with my doctors surgery and I hopefully I'll never need to change. The doctors I've seen through the years are mostly amazing! Very fair few I have had issues with. Thank you for being a great surgery

Unfortunately, I was involved in two calls to the Centre today. Both calls took in excess of 30 minutes before being answered. In neither case were we offered an apology for the waiting time. An apology is not an admission of guilt but an acknowledgement of the problem experienced. Manners cost nothing - not even a lot of time. In both cases we were number one in the queue for in excess of 15 minutes - apparently the wait was due to call volumes(?) - surely the one call in front of us, in both cases, didn't take 15+ minutes to complete. I have no idea why things are so bad. But stressed, angry and frustrated patients will not help with Centre staff stress levels.

Three weeks ago I was given a kenalog steroid injection into my shoulder as I had been diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. The clinician asked if I had any allergies and I asked about the possible drop in immune response. I wanted the injection and I made it very clear we were hoping to go away in January the first time in three years. I hoped the injection would benefit me. I was not given any patient information at the time and was not told about the side effects of postmenopausal bleeding which can occur in some women. After 12 days I have suffered this side effect. Obviously at my age this is a very concerning issue and has caused a great deal of distress. Although I was seen promptly by a gp at the surgery the NHS could not give me an appointment soon so I have had to go through the private route. I have had to have an ultrasound and will possibly have to have further investigations which will be very uncomfortable and distressing. This will be very expensive and I may yet lose a holiday due to the negligence of one of your staff. I should have been told about this before the injection was administered. I am very unhappy about the treatment I have received and intend taking this further. I have just been told by the lady at the Nuffield hospital that I was the second patient she had seen this week with bleeding after a kenalog jab. There is no excuse fo not making it clear to female patients. Carole Bennett

This practice used to be excellent before covid , unfortunately it is now dreadful, cutting repeat medication’s to save money, with no interest in how this impacts peoples quality of life . Rude calls from their pharmacist & poor due diligence. Members of staff talk loudly in reception about patients in a derogatory manner .
