Incredibly frustrated by the lack of step free access - the bridge is not all fit for purpose, it is in disrepair - I do not feel safe taking my children across - the whole thing needs replacing - with slopes to allow people to cross safety - it is 2023 surely it’s about time that we had a station that is accessible by everyone!!

Not the best of stations I must admit. Ticket office isn't open on the weekend and the ticket machine was predictably, out of order. The station isn't too close to the village and Thameslink have been providing a terrible service in terms of reliability. Expect two trains in a row to be cancelled, especially on weekends. Step free access is only possible on the platform towards Dartford and London. Seating and shelter is barely satisfactory. The station gets an extra star for having free parking with more spaces than you'd expect. But yeah, not very good.

Local train station for Higham village and surrounding areas including Cliffe and Cliffe Woods. It is manned from 6am until 2pm outside these hours there is a ticket machine that takes credit and debit cards. There is no disabled access for down line trains to Chatham and the coast as this platform is accessed via a steps and a foot bridge. When the station is manned there are toilet facilities. A mobile coffee shop is avaliable form 6am to 10am weekdays.
