After I have actually been to the Mauritius embassy, I have witnessed how these people treat you. These people are literally disgusting and doesn't offer any support to the Mauritian citizens in London. I don't see the point of having a mauritius embassy in London, they might as well just take their backside and sit in Flic-en-flac. They are rude, liars, unprofessional, unwilling to help, judgemental, doesn't even want to listen to your concerns. Forget about calling them for advice, they have a phone just to sit on their table like a vase. I've had experience with the france embassy and they are a million times better than mauritius embassy. They went the extra mile to support their citizens without any issues. I wish I can report the Mauritius embassy to the relevant authority and have them closed down or investigated. Will never go there again.. Very sad, no support for us Mauritian in the UK.

So, I was a bit apprehensive after reading such negative reviews, but my experience today was perfect. The two ladies at the consulate were extremely helpful and informative. Yes, they are behind a glass window, but this is london and security should be tight, also covid guidelines etc. The two ladies took their time and answered all of my questions and guided me through everything that I needed to do in order to replace my passport. I’d like to thank them both and say that they are a credit to Mauritius and we’re both extremely polite, professional and friendly.

I have posted my passport for a renewal since May and It has been over 4 months and still haven’t receive it, It is so unfair that I have to wait for so long for my new passport when I need it to travel back home as a family was extremely ill now cause of the delays the person has passed away and can’t even attend the funeral that’s so disgusting from them. They should have put on the application form that it will take over 4 months just to get the passport back.
