Absolutely hopeless - you cannot speak to a human being about a visa application for a person that is not eligible for an ESTA. The web enquiry page is just as bad. I have a client that has a minor misdemeanour from 40 years ago, who now holds down a highly responsible government position, yet he cannot get an ESTA and we can't get help with a visa. My advice - choose another destination!

Very terrible service. Got accepted into university and Applied for my study permit towards the end of May. Was asked to submit my passport in June. The moment it was handed in, complete radio silence. They did not respond to phone calls neither did the respond to emails. Tried contacting them every week up until September. Ended up missing the first 3 weeks of my first year and didn’t get my passport back until the end of September. So as a freshman rather than get the proper university experience, I ended up arriving only to start playing catch up with my courses. Made my experience terrible and my first semester very horrible. I wish it was possible to give negative stars

I was so touched and thank for the staffs at High Commission in London, especially Suki. My passport, laptop and medication all got stolen when I first arrived London on Mar 30, 2023. I went to High Commission office first thing in the morning on Apr 03 (Monday), Suki was so helpful and she walked extra mile to help me out in getting a temporary passport for my flight. I felt so touched and blessed with all the help that Suki and her team did when I felt so devastated. Once again I want to thank Suki and her team. Keep up the good work!

Regarding my experience of tourist visa application - Applied for the visa and submitted biometrics in mid Jan 23 with an upcoming trip to Canada towards end of April. Their website says expected processing time of 30 days, yet more than 3 and a half months of waiting and no response. There are no communication channels set up to make any queries about the application either. I have tried calling, email and submitted their webform and finally I came to the conclusion that they give zero s**ts. Now with my trip coming up next week, I get an email to say a decision has been made and for me to send my passport to them. My time is valuable to me and with so much uncertainty of this trip because of this visa, I've had to cancel my trip to Canada to attend a friend's wedding. Government departments of third world countries are more efficient than this lot. If you plan on visiting Canada, and need a visa to do so, I suggest you save yourself time and money and not bother going there.

Been waiting for an ETA now 10 months ! Sent in all forms - chased and although although all documentation showing on the case file requested it again - thought that might get them moving but alas not - Postponed planned trip in 2022 now looks like I am going to have to cancel rescheduled date of September 2023 at a huge cost. No customer service just automated responses .
