I contacted Hi-Fi Stereo on the off chance of acquiring a replacement cartridge for my vintage Rega Planar 3 TT this morning. I was greeted by a very helpful and friendly Ken who had my turntable up and running in no time. I should explain the deck isn’t standard and I wasn’t sure what the issue of the sudden sound quality loss was. Ken set up the Rega Exact cartridge and managed to address the loose crimping pins on the custom wiring on the arm, replaced the old and worn belt and had my turntable back to me sounding sweeter than a Mick Taylor lick with a double scoop of sipping whisky by mid afternoon. Great service! Many thanks 😎
