HGS has been running for over 40 years . It has consistently done original transcription and research work which has been vital to those of us with Hampshire family connections in our history. I am a member and am actively involved in helping to expand its online presence because we want it to still be delivering for family historians all over the world in 40 years time as well. Like all voluntary organisations it takes a lot of work to keep it running and would recommend to all interested to join and participate in whatever way you can.
