A quirky course with 18 tees but only 11 greens. Greens 3 to 9 are played twice as they double up with holes 12 to 18 with slightly different tee positions on the second circuit. Only holes 1,2,10 and 11 are single use holes. Having said that, the course was in good condition and played well with true running greens. With plenty of mature trees around accuracy is key. A test for any standard of golfers. Friendly staff in the clubhouse. I didn’t see any sign of a pro shop but, as I was there to play a match against Heworth, I wasn't looking for the pro shop and there may well be one tucked away somewhere I didn't see. We had an enjoyable day especially as our team won 3.5 to 2.5 with my partner and I winning our match 5 and 4 Well worth a visit.
