I should have learnt the first time I went to Mind for help and they were useless and their advice led to me getting the sack from my job. A few years later tried again and same level of incompetence leaving me in a worse situation than when I started. Never again!!!

Unresolved Safeguarding issue. I volunteered as memory support. One of the members of staff was lacking in empathy. Accused me of talking over her....I should not display any form of humour.....I should not talk to the customers carers because they have their own meetings. She spent most of one session in the corner on her mobile phone. One Lady fell asleep and was pushed firmly on her arm. I told her this could be viewed as assault she retorted I know nothing about dementia......(my Aunty died of it !!!) The staff members conduct was flagged up 8 weeks ago. I still do not have an explanation or apology. I have been passed from one manager to another...most of whom have been on holiday. Avoid.

Hertfordshire mind has helped me with my mental health and supported me to get the help I needed, I enjoy going to the metting place every week so I can discuss anything I need to or just do my own thing as there is no pressure to participate, I have met some amazing people who are now great friends and I wouldn't. Be without them now as its always good to talk to someone else who has walked In my shoes so to speak.

Not a good service. Left me without support when I was still in mental distress and didn't give me anywhere else to get support realistically

Breached GDPR and confidentiality. Reported to ICO. Alessia Newman originally apologised and said she wanted to rectify it then refused to engage with me. So I hope that the ico investigates and fines appropriately. Not trustworthy so be mindful of that if engaging with them. Thus review is of the Watford team. Don't know if the other teams are better... but I wouldnt be too hopeful. Be very careful with these slippery snakes.

Due to the Govt doing NOTHING to help with Mentall Illness and the care that is desperately needed I was shoved from piller to post. MIND are a marvellous charity and I cant thank them enough for their warmth and guidance. The Adult Services at THE HUB run by the Govt Do absolutely nothing to help me with bereavment counselling and counselling for clinical depression and manic depression. This is disgraceful. MIND Do CARE and are more than aware of how badly run Govt funded places like the Welk l Being centre are as well as the UK as a whole. If you are disturbed finding life very difficult and need help please call MIND. They will supply a list and information on help lines to call night and day also. They offer courses in anxiety etc and a drop in twice a week. Wonderful people I cant praise them enough.
