Herts AV Systems/Herts Aerial Sysyems : do not use this company. Clint Brady, the director, did our home AV from 2014 until 2017. He was messy but seemed reliable and honest. He then turned up in June 2017, telling us his van had been broken into and that he had lost cash and equipment. He said he would have to close the company down as he couldn’t afford to replace vital equipment. Long story short he asked if we would lend him £6000 and stupidly we agreed. He promised to repay within 6 weeks by selling a car. Obviously he didn’t do that. He did however make intermittent payments until May 31st. He still owes us £1400 plus costs, which currently stands at a total of over £1700. He never responds to any communication (we have not heard from him since Feb 2018 although initially did still make some payments)etc and we have now gone through the small claims court - still don’t have our money back. Do not trust this man. He seems like a nice guy but isn’t. Stupidly we trusted him and helped him out. Most upsetting is he knows we have had a terrible time with serious illness in the family - he doesn’t care. Obviously we wish we had never helped him out. If I could give zero stars I would.....
