Had a transmission fault with my mercedes that I couldn't get to the bottom of. Took it Matt and he kindly looked into it for me for a whole week even though he was busy as ever. I'd never used him before and I was pleased to see he wanted to help. He drove it for a week and looked into the fault but Sadly the fault was beyond fixing in the end as it was hit and miss when it would actually happen. Given the time he had my car he didnt even charge me. I offered several times and he flat out refused as he said he didn't do any work on it but I was happy to pay for his time he took out if other work to look into it. I still owe him that bottle I said I was gonna bring round. I will do so! And when my new car needs a look into he's my first port of call. Need any car help in Hatfield area.... Id recommend highly

I took my car in for diagnostic checks everything went smoothly, I ordered a knock sensor through warranty and I was assured it would be ordered and arrive within 8weeks. 7 weeks in to the waiting time I decided to call in to check if the knock sensor may of arrived and I was told by a member of staff the item was not ordered and if I would like to continue to get this order I’d have to pay a £150 deposit and a 8 week waiting again!. Complete waste of time and didn’t even expect this from a RAC approved garage. Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance

I cannot thank the kindness shown me from this business when as a mature lady just discharged from hospital I returned to my car parked at the Travelodge to find the battery completely flat, on calling them there was no hesitation to come to my rescue with a power pack immediately without expecting any remuneration. Iam unbelievably impressed with the service that Matt gave me. A previous garage charged me over a £100 for a diagnostic assessment and then quoted £500 for some work. They said that they could not guarantee this additional money would solve the problem and that it was a starting point for further assessment. Matt identified the problem immediately and resolved it while I waited. This problem was causing huge anxiety as my friend was about to take her driving test after waiting many months and the test would not have gone ahead as an engine fault was showing on the dashboard. Very many thanks to Matt for his professionalism and decency. He explained exactly what was causing the problem and remedied it. I and my friend are so grateful for everything he did. I was recommended this company after being ripped off elsewhere. Matt gave me an honest and reasonable quote for the work which actually needed, clearly saying which work needed doing (as opposed to my previous mechanic). When I dropped off my car, I was greeted in a kind way with a timeframe of how it would take. The work itself took less time than expected, which was brilliant. As I collected my car, everything was explained in a friendly and not over complicated fashion. Thank you Matt for such professionalism and the high quality of service that you provided.
