Has great facilities which are new fresh and accommodating plus the studio has a light up floor to create the perfect atmosphere. Our attendees highly recommend this venue. Ten minutes walk from St Albans City station, with parking on site, the Combat Centre ran a two-hour corporate taster session for fourteen people on a Friday afternoon. Coaching was excellent, going from a thorough warm up, through ice breaking games that focused on the primary skills needed to fence. This was followed up with a short footwork session, allowing for maximum time in kit and with Sabre in hand. A short tournament and medals rounded off the day nicely and everyone left happy, and slightly sweaty.

Just finished an exhausting yet exhilarating time fencing at this fantastic venue. All the staff were very helpful with a special thanks to Paul Davis. I haven’t fenced in over two years, so it was an absolutely pleasure to be able to do battle with my life long friend on a super state of the art piste in very comfortable surroundings. Can’t recommend this place highly enough
