Our amphitheater has a seating capacity of 1,000. As for seating options, we have both covered and uncovered seating areas. The covered seating area has fixed seats while the uncovered seating area is on grass with the option to bring your own chairs or blankets.Can outside food and beverages be brought into the amphitheater or is there an option to purchase food and drinks on site?

Health warning: Hertfordshire Chorus is seriously addictive; if you join you may never want to leave! Wednesday evening rehearsals are always absorbing, challenging, exhilarating, friendly and fun. Our concerts are musically ambitious and regularly include unusual repertoire, including our own commissions. Singing with Hertfordshire Chorus is the ultimate team-work; high levels of commitment are expected, but the personal rewards are often more than you might expect.

The standards are incredibly high, and the choice of both venues and content for our concerts ensures they provide a great musical experience. Certainly challenging for a singer, but I always come away feeling I've achieved something good. The opportunities to sing with top-drawer orchestras at some of the best south-east venues, and also take part in recordings for both CD release and radio programmes brings that extra buzz!
