Delays and cancellations are very common. If you can avoid this station do it! Also the trains don’t have ventilation so the smell is, normally, horrible as the toilets don’t work most of the times.

There's an absolutely lovely lady in the ticket office. She took the trouble to advise us of the most economical way to buy tickets into London and also to use the underground while we were there. The ticket machines are fine but can't match the service that this wonderful lady gave us. An absolute credit to her employer
