Thermostat Fire Hazard. The thermostat I was using got so hot it melted parts of the unit. I raised fire safety concerns with Herschel who told me a battery thermostat could not cause a fire. I had it looked at by an engineer who told me anything that gets hot enough to melt plastic and burn could absolutely cause a fire, especially as it was used as a free standing unit on carpeted floor or fabric sofa. Herschel eventually agreed to look at it but unfortunately when I sent it to them it was lost. I do have footage of the unit melting and burning which I will send to Trading Standards as I would hate this to happen to someone else and the outcome be far more serious.

My husband has been wanting to heat the patio in our garden for years, it gets very little sun in the daytime and gets even colder at night, but I thought at the time all garden heaters were pretty ugly looking, I'd not seen any that I wanted to put in my garden. Eventually I stumbled across Herschel, and ended up buying a couple of the Gold California heater, I just thought they looked really pretty and actually added something to my garden. Since it's been installed I couldn't be more impressed. The quality of the heater is so good and does exactly what we wanted, and it looks amazing! When I rang up to speak to someone initially about wanting to buy a heater, they were so informative and helpful, they really know their stuff, I was actually quite surprised at how well! I really can't stress enough how happy I am, we've all had a difficult 18 months so for everything to go so smoothly and receive such genuine customer service was really valuable. And now we don't have a cold patio anymore! Well done to Herschel and thank you! Will definitely come to you if I need another heater in the future.

We are student accommodation providers and have used the Herschel heaters in over 20 properties, initially we used them in basement rooms where we had damp issues, they were a fantastic solution, we then understood the benefits of using them in all areas of our properties, they look so sleek, slim and easy to fit. It is more manageable having only one energy bill. The students absolutely love the product, they sometimes think they are a white boards and they site neatly on a wall or ceiling. Any news builds we fit these as a standard and look to convert from gas central heating where possible. I don't write many reviews, however this is a huge 10 out of 10 for our business. Plus they actually talk you through their products and help you find the correct product for your scheme. Thank you

We live in an apartment in a converted listed building with tall ceilings and large sash windows. The electric heating system that was put in as part of the conversion just couldn’t heat the space and we suffered through a few very cold winters. Last year we got in contact with Herschel and they talked us through all the options available, we settled on the Summit panels as they look sleek and stylish and it’s absolutely changed the feeling of our home. Not only do they heat our home amazingly but as silly as it sounds, it’s a real comforting warmth rather than the stuffy feeling you can get some convection radiators. Can’t recommend Herschel and these radiators highly enough.
