Always a magical place...with the bonsai trees in full leaf, it's wonderful shapes, colours and size that make Heron's a must....plus, there's a good pub at the end of the track! Go visit...you might want a few trees!!

I recently visited Herons Bonsai Nursery with high expectations and a genuine love for bonsai trees. Unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed and questioning the state of the nursery. The trees on display appeared neglected and were surrounded by weeds, which made it difficult to appreciate their true beauty. One of the major drawbacks of my visit was the pricing. I found the trees to be overpriced for the quality they offered. It was disheartening to see that the trees did not match the price tags attached to them. The lack of proper care and maintenance was evident, and it was disappointing to see such potential bonsai specimens being let down by their condition

Some say Mr Chan wasn't born but actually carved from the living wood of a highly rare Areca Palm Tree by ancient India mystics. Some say Mr Chan need only be near a tree for it to grow and regain it's vigor. What ever the truth we can say Mr Chan is warm, friendly and happy to pass on his knowledge to the next generation. His YouTube channel is a vast source of information free for all who wish to learn.
