After searching my local area in Newbury for a preschool in 2015 to send my son to the following January (2016) aged 2.5 years I discovered that my most local village preschool only took children from 3 years old. As my son struggled to develop his speech and language I wanted him to start sooner to help this progress and was happy to pay as his funding did not start until 3 years. I discovered a 10 minute drive away was Hermitage Preschool. The hall and facilities were all new and fantastic, the garden was being developed heavily with lots of parents involved in fund raising events creating a lovely village preschool atmosphere which is exactly what I was striving for. Within weeks of my son starting he was talking fluently. The staff are all amazing and support children wonderfully. My eldest has since moved on to primary school and the transition was wonderful due to the preparation the preschool puts into place. I have now placed my second son (2.5 Years) there also and couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff are so enthusiastic, my eldest leaving assembly left us all in tears. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Hermitage preschool enough, and am so glad I found it and took the chance to drive from newbury to give my children the opportunity to go there!
