My girlfriend and I recently purchased a new build property on Hermitage Park (phase 4) from Croudace. Having heard many horror stories of moving into new builds we were a little apprehensive, and whilst there were a few challenges (which is expected with any home move, and mainly was linked to the selling of our previous property), the whole process was straightforward and we are both delighted with the quality of our house. Whilst the build completion date did slip by a couple of weeks and we were close to our mortgage expiring, the team worked hard to ensure that this date was not missed. We were able to meet with the site director to understand what work was outstanding and the likely timescales. I would like to give thanks to Russell (site manager), Martha and Suzie (Sales Team) for being so approachable and supportive. Martha in particular was our main point of contact throughout the whole process and she was extremely friendly and honest - she’s a real asset to the company. The quality of the house is superb and so far have yet to identify a single issue (fingers crossed), however Croudace have an aftercare team who are on hand to fix anything as part of a 2 year guarantee. We had a relatively large choice of options for the kitchen, bathroom tiles, and paint which allowed us to tailor design our home. I would recommend Croudace as a developer given our experience.

If your looking to move here I can't recommend the team enough. We have lived here for a year now, we have had a few issues, biggest was garden had to be dug up due to bad sewage line, all done in the time frame they said. Honestly, everytime we have had an issue it's delt with quick and professionally. The guys that come out and do the work are proper decent blokes, they sort the issue every time. Points about the house All the integrated stuff is top notch, everything works nice. The build quality is second to none, we actually new a bricky who done some work on the site, he seconded it. All the locks are solid and strong, the doors are thick and heavey and make you feel safe, the showers are good pressure and finished to perfection, the floor tiles in the kitchen are all level ect ect. We get the feeling there was a lot of pride put into our house, everything was just finish so nice, literally couldn't find fault in any of it. I wrote the review becuase I see some bad ones and was shocked. I can't speak for anyone else but me, but when I have spoke to people on the site they all have been positive so unsure? Maybe some just had a bad experience. we havnt and we love it. Even come home one day and they had planted a load of plants down our side bit lol. Top class stuff. easy 5 star
