Found to be unreliable, called to make an appointment for him to visit us and give a price for sofa repair, didn’t bother to turn up nor call to advise! Called next day spoke to him again, he didn’t give any reason for non-show! Made another appointment and guess what? He didn’t show again and no calls to say he wasn’t going to call! I hate to think what would happen if he had our sofa! Wouldn’t use him even if he was the last upholstery business in the world!

We have done repeat business here because of the good quality of the workmanship, and the reliability and knowledge shown by this gentleman. His experience is invaluable. On the latest reupholstery project he varied slightly from my remit however when I went to pick the chair up I could immediately see why he had done this, and I could see that what he had chosen to do was an improvement to the look and quality of the piece. I would recommend to anyone; putting your trust and furniture in Alan's capable hands.

Heritage Upholstery did my chair proud. I inherited a family chair that meant the world to me, not least because I am told it once belonged to the painter Camille Pissarro. This poor old chair was not in the best shape and had the most appalling stretchy cover. In Mr Johnson's hands it was transformed into a red velvet throne. I could not be more happy. Mr Johnson is good value, reliable and professional.
