Maybe I was just unlucky, and they were having a bad couple of days? Showroom was nice and the receptionist was friendly. A week ago I spoke to the service manager who seemed annoyed he'd been called out to talk to me, was rude, short and interupted me constantly. Wouldn't even come and look at the car. I went to another garage and they sorted out my issue in 5 mins. Today the car went in to look at faults (car was brand new four weeks ago) took them all day and apparently 15 miles of driving to work out it needed a software update. I was rung about 30 mins before close, and the phone call got cut off. I tried ringing back 6 times while I was en route to the garage in a taxi. No body picked up and I let it ring out everytime. I finally got there and apparently the phones are working, just nobody could be bothered to pick it up. Very disappointed as Skoda has a good reputation. It's a shame to see that it doesn't extend to there garages. Will now have to travel to bath to a Skoda garage that seems not to mind you bringing a Skoda car to be fixed. Silly of me to assume really.

Unsafe and unhelpful. Purchased an extended warranty for my vehicle, but god help you if you need to claim anything on it. Fault occurred continually for over 1 year, before finally the vehicle indicators, crash safety systems, cruise control, etc all stopped working. 1 month wait to be seen, fault found quickly once dropped in. Had the cheek to charge nearly £40 for a car to borrow for 1 days! (Seriously, not even a single days complimentary hire for a warranty fault). It's now been 3 MONTHS in a very unsafe vehicle and not a SINGLE person has called back on any of the promised days, despite chasing them and having a promise of "I'll call you on Monday for an update". Next excuse "our warranty claims changed in December so we will have to reprocess your claim" - meaning they'd forgot to do it?!. "Getting warranty parts is hard", "I'll chase and check Monday ". Full of lies and it's a joke. "Joseph" probably shouldn't be handling issues if they're not able to follow them up with something as simple as a phone call. Warranty is now expiring as it's taken 4, heading into 5 months to get exactly nowhere! Passed pillar to post when you call, never a helpful answer.
