Such a brilliant day. Cam picked us up from the campsite and briefed us at Lucksall. Really nice guy, friendly and full of knowledge. This was my first time canoeing so I was a little nervous but after the tips and instruction felt at ease. The stretch of river was beautiful and it really was the perfect way to spend a frosty autumn morning. So peaceful there with kingfishers, geese and ducks galore. Thanks guys!

We had an amazing time canoeing from Lucksall to Hoarwithy. The staff were friendly and informative, meaning we set off with confidence! That stretch of the Wye was so beautiful and quiet. We were enjoying the views so much that we forgot to take photos! We will definitely be back soon.

Had an absolutely fantastic time canoeing and would definitely recommend doing this again. The instructor was really thorough making sure everyone was confident with the basics of the water and route, and it was a so lovely to take our little one on their very first water experience. It made such an impression that they are still talking about it now and want to go again soon!

We had a great morning canoeing from Lucksall Park to Tresseck campsite. The booking was really easy to make and we went by mini bus from tresseck to lucksall to start our trip. I was a bit apprehensive as we were canoeing with our 2 children (8 and 5 years) and our dog - none of who had ever been in a canoe before! But needn’t have worried as we completed the trip in 3 hours, the kids really enjoyed it and the dog was fine. We didn’t capsize and it was great seeing the area from a different viewpoint from the river and it felt like a real adventure for the children. We did get stuck on a few of the rapids as the river level was so low due to the lack of recent rain, but just meant my husband got to get his feet wet and push us over the shallow bits! Would highly recommend this trip if you’re staying in the area, it was definitely one of the highlights of our week away and the company are well organised with good equipment and instruction before you set off. Thanks to Andy and Will from the Dawbers (owners of the cow print truck!)
