My friend and I booked this for our first camping trip with out daughters (5yo)for father's day weekend, and things could not have been better. The owners were wonderfully pleasant on arrival, and that set the tone for the weekend. Plenty to do with the bairns for the day, to go alongside the traditional games we played (the art of Frisbee is lost to this generation!) and we didn't even look to venture off site to Hadrians Wall, Haltwhistle or any of the other places to go nearby. Facilities are well kept and comprehensive, the whole weekend was a perfect introduction for the girls to camping!

The facilities here have to get the first mention… they are superb! Lovely, well maintained & clean. There’s also the option of a couple of baths in the ladies. The indoor washing up area/kitchen is perfect, especially as when we stayed it was VERY windy so appreciated being able to wash up out of the elements. Good dog walking field which gives a good view down onto the site. This site is ideally located for Hadrians wall. We stayed here when doing the Northumberland 250 so only stayed one night but it is definitely somewhere that you would want to book for longer!

Excellent facilities and very helpful and friendly wardens even to the extent of dropping us down to the local railway station as the bus service has been temporarily discontinued. Highly recommended Steve and Jacqui #Etonmess_Buzyasabee
