    INITIAL REVIEW PUBLISHED SOON AFTER EVENT AND FOLLOW ON RESPONSE TO HB’S RECENT BLATANTLY FALSE COMMENTS (see below). Henry’s Bartenders provided the bar support for my son’s wedding on 20 August. Despite some great promises up front, including confirming in writing that one of the owners, Josh, would be in the team supporting the event, they sent two inexperienced staff who needed significant direction and did not provide the professional service expected. Eg they did not replenish ice so we were left with a full (hired) commercial freezer full of wasted ice, they did not do the clearing up they committed to and had the audacity to charge £30 an hour for this substandard performance. When this was queried, my son and his wife were threatened with legal action. I would warn anyone considering Henrys Bartenders to think carefully before going ahead. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ON 2 APRIL 2023 following the false response from Henrys Bartenders (HB) posted recently (1 Apr) both on Google and on Trust Pilot. Our reviews were entirely truthful and we can evidence all the comments made. TP demanded full documented evidence and only on the provision of this published our review; this confirms its veracity. At no time were HB blackmailed to give the job for free and all our attempts to engage in a constructive decision were ignored with HBs resorting to a legal threat in an email from Josh Cowie on 6 Sep (proof available). No additional staff were offered, nor would they have been required if the staff provided had been sufficiently trained / experienced. We had additional support all day and partly into the evening and these two individuals did a fantastic job which included instructing the HB staff. The drinks service was entirely DIY with guests helping themselves to champagne, wines, beers, spirts and mixers, soft drinks etc. We had a catering company who did all the food management and clearing away. Puddings and cheese were then help yourselves with little support needed. So no waiting and serving requirements, just restocking ice and drinks and helping to clear away glasses, tins etc. The reference to 200 + guest is also fiction as can be verified from the detailed instruction sheet provided to HBs shortly before the wedding confirming 134 guests. So, frankly, this is a sad and misguided attempt to discredit us in spite of the evidence.

    I would give more than 5* if I could! We booked the Henry's Bar for a company summer party, and I am so glad we did! Josh and his team were wonderful – really friendly and efficient service – every drink was delivered with a smile. They went above and beyond to deliver an exceptional service, even ordering additional personalised cocktail toppers with our company logo as well as including this on the printed menu. The bar looked lovely and there was a great selection of drinks and they were all lovely – you are also able to choose which cocktails/how many you would like! Set-up and clean up were seamless too. They maintained excellent communication throughout: from getting an initial quote all the way to the day of the event. Without a doubt, I would book Henry's Bar for my next event!
