Great selections of books, but It was a very rude reaction I got when I tried to reach a calendar for sale on the displayed items. The seller thought I was a kid when he told me (with a very loud tone) that I needed his permission before touching anything in there... that was very ridiculous and unnecessary. While vacationing in London during Holy Week, I visited this place twice. On both occasions, I didn't get so much as a hello, not even a nod. It's one thing to let customers browse undisturbed and it's another to ignore them. On this trip, I visited eight bookshops and this was the only one that gave me an unwelcome vibe. I think it's the first time I have to give a bad review to a bookstore and it truly pains me. I did buy a book from them but I didn't like the experience.

Amazing experience from start to finish: went to buy a wedding anniversary gift for my wife and the owners were amazing. Knowledgeable, had a wide selection of the book I was after, and gave me the options in a very easy to digest way - not being a collector or knowing anything about antique books this really helped make the decision. I can't wait for another excuse to go back. Brilliant shop.
