The fountain is a bronze panel with symmetrical decorations on the sides and underlying contour engraving. (Original) Cura dei dettagli, tranquillità e bellezza, nel giardino a pochi passi da Westminster. Ottimo per un picnic fuori dal caos cittadino ma a due passi da questo, a vostra scelta! Ricco di statue di personaggi illustri, Fawcett fu un importante insegnante alla Cambridge oltre ad assolvere a ruoli politici ed amministrativi nella cittadina. La fontana è un pannello in bronzo con decori simmetrici ai lati ed incisione sottostante a contorno.

The Henry Fawcett Memorial is a fountain commemorating Henry Fawcett inside the Victoria Embankment Gardens. Henery Fawcett will not be known to a great many people. He was British academic, politician and economist who introduced many innovations, including parcel post, postal orders, and licensing changes to permit payphones and trunk lines. He is also known for having participated on Charles Darwin's "On Origin of Species" during the 1860 Oxford evolution debate. As for the statue, it's a fountain containing a relief portrait of Henry Fawcett. The outlet for the water is through the mouth of a fish sculpture below the portrait. Nothing amazing to see, but a worthwhile detour if in Victoria Embankment Gardens
