Amazing to see the crews the day before the regatta. Quite stressful in a narrow boat but we didn't hit anyone! Good luck all.

I went there recently with my Mum. We walked to the lock and back and had a sandwich on a bench by the waters edge and watched the boats and the abundant bird life on the Thames. Its a place that i used to go to with my late Father. The rowing club is a really good place to have something to eat and the facilities are excellent. There is a also a cafe which is unfortunately closed (covid) in front of the rowing club on the green. It can get quite busy during weekends so we tend to go in the week. Im sure we'll be back soon after lockdown.
