We have just had a long weekend here. The property is very clean and well thought out. Lovely touches on towels and robes for the beach and hot tub. Very dog friendly . The beach is lovely and not far. The river is close too but we didn’t get to walk there. There are some good restaurants in Southbourne and Soho beach bar is a great place to enjoy a drink or coffee while watching the waves, Ginny’s Apple cake was delicious, Highly recommend

Ginny and Nigel have provided everything needed to make a holiday for dog lovers perfect. In addition to providing towels for the beach/hot tub, there was also a doggy towel and bedding/bowls, really leaving nothing to chance. The kitchen was spotlessly clean and had great appliances as well as those things which you might forget - washing up liquid /pepper and salt grinders and the essential bottle opener and corkscrew! A very tasty homemade Dorset Apple cake was there on arrival along with fresh milk and tea bags. We will definitely be returning to this great accommodation. The guest book comments showed that we were just the latest in a long line of very satisfied customers. Well done to you both and a big Thank you!

Lovely place to stay. We were made so welcome with lots of lovely extra goodies for me and my dog. There were details of walks from the door, ideas of places to visit and local eateries, shops etc. Ginny was very helpful for a nervous traveller like me and available if there were any problems (there weren't any). I hope to be back and certainly recommend this lovely home

We have just finished our 5th stay at Hengistbury Reach and once again loved every minute of it. (we are back again soon) Even the weather was good to us. We made maximum use of the hot tub, it is so very relaxing. Ginny and Nigel are great hosts and make it so welcoming and we love the extras that are there for you. They have thought of everything. We stayed at Hengistbury Reach for a long weekend and it was a perfect, relaxed stay. Ginny and Nigel had thought of everything that guests may need - takeaway menus, directions to the beach, cooking condiments, breakfast items, beach towels, dog bowls, dog towels… the list goes on. And Ginny made us an amazing cake which she also provided the recipe for. The house is clean and well equipped. The garden is fully secure and the hot tub is amazing (covered too and with magical fairy lights). We definitely intend to come back! There was two of us and our dog but there is definitely enough space for 4 people (there are two bathrooms) and we loved the superking bed!

AMAZING! Visited this month for our honeymoon and we loved it. The property has everything you need and more. It’s very clean and the extra touches left by the hosts just make the stay. There’s plenty to do in the area we didn’t move the car for the week and it’s a great area if you have dogs too as almost everywhere we went was dog friendly. Definitely going to return!

Perfect getaway ~ Clean, Welcoming, Relaxing & lots of little extras to make stay even more enjoyable! The homemade apple cake made by Ginny was one of my favourites I actually put in a order before we left for gifts and us to enjoy back home. Our best bits was the Large Enclosed garden perfect for dogs to sniff and play, Hot Tub with cosy cover and lighting , decking area with BBQ. Large open plan kitchen with doors out into garden. Massive Bed, & Big Bath tub that you can share with your partner. All near Stunning walks & beautiful beaches .. I would highly recommend staying there ~ We will be booking again very soon!

Amazing place We had my 50th birthday at the reach, 2020 before the world shut down 1st ever guests also :-) Our dogs love the beaches, and the back garden is safe and secure, Will will be back every year for a week or two
