    I’ve had my Mazda 6 brand new from 2016. Over this time I have diligently looked after the car via the dealer having any repairs and servicing completed to support the warranty. However, I was shocked to see how challenging it has been made for customers to get their car care completed by the dealer. Earlier this year I required the engine to be flushed and cleaned due to the DPF failing and a large carbon build up. Booked the car in and after having the car for two days, I was advised the works couldn’t be undertaken at Brighton and I’d need to take it to Horsham. I asked the team to arrange this, but advised I would have to take the car to Horsham myself. I asked them to book this in and let me know when to drop this off, also enquired about a courtesy car. I was advised no courtesy cars were available but the would book it in and someone from Horsham would be in touch. Three days later, no calls so I contacted Horsham and they knew nothing about it. I booked it in with them and they advised the work would take around 3-4 days to complete, again no courtesy car available. Dropped the car off and waited 4 days expecting someone to contact me letting me know it was complete, no call. I phoned and spoke to the team and they advised it was still being worked on and they would be in touch as soon as it was ready. 2 days later no call, I phoned and left messages on the answer phone, no response. Tried again the next day and left messages again and finally got a call back saying it wasn’t ready still. This went on for 2 weeks until the car was finally repaired. I then had to find someone to drive me the 30 min journey to Horsham to collect the car and charged £1200 for the works.I jumped in the car and noted black hand prints in the car, no cleaning or washing of the car had been done. This took a month to resolve, no courtesy car, no contact with updates and no finishing touches. This has been repeated every time I’ve had the displeasure of having to take the car to Mazda and never have the car cleaned or courtesy car, it’s been made difficult for customers to receive any servicing via the dealer and no perks or attempt to make the experience as easy as possible. When I take our Audi to the garage, we get looked after, courtesy cars or the option to have the car or the customer picked up and dropped off! I’m really disappointed in all aspects of Mazda after sales and customer care, which will stop me from ever buying a Mazda again. I’ve just returned from Halfords after trying to replace the battery, however been advised this will need to be completed by the dealer; I’m dreading having to go through the process again with Mazda and then be charged a premium cost for dreadful service and customer care.
