Bought an XE through Jardines Jaguar Wolverhampton 2 weeks ago. As an approved used car it came with a full Jaguar 12 month warranty and 12 months Jaguar breakdown and recovery service. The buying experience was exceptional, and made very special by the sales team. The car has impressed me no end and I immediately became a loyal advocate of the brand. Though buying in Wolverhampton ( the only jag dealer with the car spec I wanted), I live in Dorset. One week in my car went into limp mode, a red warning light came on and a message came up confirming reduced power and to seek assistance. I was 5 minutes from Hendy Jaguar Christchurch and parked outside their showrooms and close to the service area. Seeking help and advice I was told they couldn’t look at it for 10 days! I contacted Jaguar Assistance, an AA van on their behalf arrived within the hour and had sorted the simple problem (an air filter sensor had worked loose) in 2 minutes flat. All this right in front of the showroom windows didn’t make for good optics I feel. Before leaving I went back in to Hendy to discuss setting up a service plan. I was told they didn’t do this and I would have to sort it out on line. Couldn’t get me out of the door quick enough. The excellent service I received from Jardines, the excellence of the car and the rapid response I received from Jag Assist made me a very satisfied and happy customer. Hendy Christchurch soon knocked the gloss off that…… Jaguar Assist , when first contacted expressed surprise that Hendy couldn’t just look at it quickly, and having gone on line to set up a service plan it clearly states that this could be done by calling in to the dealer. Very disappointing.

Another call to get a problem looked at, another failed attempt to get through, and, it seems, another broken promise to call me back. Totally unacceptable for a premium brand. This place has gone rapidly downhill.

Had my Jaguar booked in for a small service today. Was very please with how helpful and welcoming all the staff was. Excellent service and sets a very high benchmark that all dealers should follow. Price for the work was also very reasonable.

We have visited a lot of car garages of late as my husband and I have both needed new cars and I can honestly say that Hendy Jaguar in Christchurch outshines them all. As soon as you walk through the door you're greeted by the ladies on reception who are always smiling and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They offered us a hot drink and this is the only garage we visited that offered our young daughters a drink AND some chocolate! They also gave them sticker books to keep them occupied while we read through and signed paper work. Anyone with children will know how hard it can be to make a big decision like buying a car with children telling you how bored they are every minute. I should mention a gentleman named Cav who took us through our sale and was fantastic from start to finish. I can see ourselves being lifelong customers of this garage and have already recommended them to other friends ans family.

I have been dealing with Hendy for a number of years and have always enjoyed very good service from reception and the sales team .This weekend my Epace decided it didn’t recognise the key so I was stranded in a car park . I called the emergency service the recovery team rectified the problem on a temporary basis and advised me to book the car in with my dealer . I called Hendy on Monday the 12th to be told I could book my car in February next year . It might be a simple problem but this is not service . Very disappointed
