    Absolutely no support with an uncooperative landlord. The landlord's themselves were absolutely terrible, the house was a complete bodge with insufficient insulation, useless kitchen extraction, no ventilation, mould that they refused to have rectified and so many broken contractual promises, not to mention they were laughably incompetent when it came to the deposit procedure which they dragged out for an obscenely long time (still waiting months after moving out for them to provide evidence), and we had absolutely no support or help from the letting agent.

    We viewed a property with Your Move then Henderson Setterfield took it over the day after. We told Henderson Setterfield we had already viewed the property and would like to be put forward to the landlord for consideration, but they said we had to view the property again as they need to meet any prospective tenants. They did offer us a viewing slot but it was in the middle of the afternoon which we couldn't do as we both work. We reminded them they had already met us recently when we viewed another property with them. We even offered to drop into their office at an agreed time so they can meet us again in order to put us forward. But the response we got was just 'We can't put you forward without you viewing the property' and there was no alternative time slot offered if we did want to go through the rigmarole of viewing it again. I didn't get the impression the person who wrote the email had even discussed it with anyone higher up in the business. Will be avoiding all lettings through them now. Just really unhelpful.
