A lovely experience. A good range of dress styles in a good number of sizes. Variety of hats, fascinators, other accessories and THE most comfortable shoes. Service was lovely and our assistant really professional and knowledgeable. She had great ideas and delivered them in a thoughtful manner. I got my dress (MOB) and couldn't be happier.

Don't trust them! I bought a dress, paid the asking price in full at the till. After which, I found out I have paid over 60% above the RRP. When challenged, I was told "they stand by their pricing policy". Be warned - price check!

The whole experience my daughter and I shared with The Hen House, from choosing the dress to the final fitting was a delight. The guidance, expertise and skills of both Ceri and Harriet were second to none. Nothing was too much trouble . Fantastic bridal experience, one of my most favourite places to be, when I was preparing for the wedding. Harriet was an absolute star, very understanding and just lovely. I cannot praise enough Ceri's skills as a seamstress. I have passed their threshold not fully knowing what I want as my wedding dress and ended up with the most beautiful gown from my dreams. I would highly recommend Hen House to any future bride, but also to anyone, who would like to have a perfectly fitted dress. Thank you so much!

My wife had her Mother of the Bride bespoke dress made at the Hen House by Ceri to a design which made her feel comfortable and in which she looked beautiful. The shop also provided hat and accessories to match and then Ceri also creatively modified a different dress for another wedding and matched accessories for that too. Following a last minute glitch with shoe colour by another company Ceri went out of her way to make sure my wife had a change of accessories to match. Would highly recommend.

Disappointing. And unfortunately now have a reminder, in the form of wedding photos in a dress I didn't want to wear( mother of the bride). But the front of house service was outstanding, and there was no quibble about a refund for the alterations done. But I have a dress I can't wear, and can't replace. And a very expensive, last minute buy that I dont like and didn't want to wear. But apparently going in my dressing gown was not allowed. Not a pleasant experience.
