Dirty carpts to the point that most people would have burnt them holes in walls ALL switches dirty, shower had more dirt in it than my work van we went into the room, we then left within 10 mins, i wouldnt allow my dogs to stay there 1 star TOO GENEROUS

The accommodation in the lodge is really bad. the room stank of stale cigarettes, the carpet badly stained, the pillows and sheets a bit dirty, the cushions on the bed filthy. Utterly disappointing. Venue states it is a 'competitively priced 1* accommodation', why you would proudly boast being 1* I have no idea but I can say that 1 *is generous! I could have got a better room, customer service, hygiene and even had breakfast for cheaper at the Premier Inn up the road, then ONLY thing this had going. In its favour was that it was upstairs from a function we were attending in the steakhouse. So much to list from small cosmetic issues to quite concerning hygiene issues but there is not enough time or space to do so here, all I will say is don't waste your money!

Somewhere in the middle. Will certainly do if your in need of room for the night at short notice, but not my first choice had I the option. Still the bedsheets were clean and the room warm which is exactly what what I was after.
