I cannot fault the friendliness and helpfulness of the building management (namely Ashley). He goes above and beyond. However, on arrival I was dubious that my room and en-suite ever had a thorough end-of-tenancy clean between the previous person leaving and myself moving in. I was further dismayed to see the state of the loo that is attached to the kitchen on the ground floor of our townhouse. It had clearly never been cleaned by the previous tenants and ignored over summer when the cleaners did the kitchen (which was spotless) and hence was in an unusable state and still is. Facility wise - the cinema room is fabulous and the gym is great for a workout. Laundry is Circuit and the machines are well maintained and always clean. However, the thin partition walls between bedrooms can be seen as an issue. Noise travels and yes that is a fact of life, but you trying to get a decent nights sleep is unfortunately up to the discretion of your neighbour.

Do not come here the building is unsafe and the staff will lie to you and treat you with disrespect. When moving in the kitchen and bedroom were dirty instead of them cleaning it they told me to clean it instead. Very disorganised and have no clue what they’re doing This building is unsafe the fire alarms control box can be accessed by anyone including residents so if someone doesn’t like the sound of the fire alarms going off they can silence the entire building even if real smoke has triggered the alarms. I complained about this issue but I just got more excuses and nothing happened. Paper thin walls, reception is never open, broken gym equipment, communal areas are dirty, located in a council estate which generally means it’s an unsafe area (there’s been multiple attempted break ins whilst I’ve lived there) Don’t waste your money here better option is the Coal Yard

Don't expect anyone to be in the reception, it is rare. So if you are waiting for a parcel to be delivered, there is no one to receive it. I have seen unattended parcels outside the accommodation entrance several times. There are no escape route signs/emergency lights at the stairwells of the townhouses in case of emergency or blackout, which is unacceptable. Plus, it is true that the walls separating the rooms are very thin and you can hear everything. Also, it is probably inconvenient and unhygienic having only two washing machines for approximately 100 tenants? Two stars because the location is convenient (close to the city center and bus stops to uni, quiet street), and because the management team answers the phone - at least when I tried to call them.

Do not believe the old comment. That is ture, but out of the date. The old management team left in early 2021 and that was the beginning of disaster and chaos. No one in reception, packages are left lying around and no body cares what you write in the mail. If you try to do so little to improve your experience, the only thing the administrator can do is suggest that it's all your own fault and you need accept the status. That is why I moved out. PS: There are still some nice people here too, but that should not be the reason you choose there.I sincerely suggest you look elsewhere.

After the previous management team left, this accommodation has a lot of management problems. No one in the reception. Parcels alway get lost. The bins are smelling... Especially, the new manager is rude and hardly taking any advices.
