my first year here was great but my second year not so much. it’s a nice accommodation with kind staff but is ruined by .inconsiderate students. i frequently hear students slamming doors and yelling from midnight onwards, even cheering in the corridors? for absolute no reason than plain ignorance and rudeness. it is also next to a secondary school which is very loud during the week (screaming all day long, idk what they’re doing over there) transport links for buses are great, but tube is twenty minute walk away. also located in zone 2 so you’ll be paying £3+ to get into your campus during peak times. i think there are nicer places you can get for the same price unfortunately as the surrounding area is dodgy as well. it is a shame as the building is lovely and the rooms are great too. the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. any issues report they fix asap

Poor management and bad security. I felt so unsafe there and had to move out 2 months before my contract even ended. But if you’re a thief, a harasser or a loud-party-lover, this would be your heaven. ☺️

No privacy at all. They have people check every corner of your room regularly and it's mandatory. Feel like a grown-up in prison.

Very helpful and welcoming management and staff. The area seems a bit dodgy, but this is balanced by a beautiful park nearby. The rooms are really small, but this is a standard for London I believe. The only major drawback I can think of is the non-existence of soundproofing in the rooms, as you can hear every door shut, every neighbour's conversation, in the corridor of dozen rooms. 3.5/5

i absolutely loved living at here! the management is so kind and helpful - they were always checking to make sure we were okay, especially during lockdown. i made friends here for life and honestly would live here again if i could! i had my reservations because of some reviews i saw earlier but took a chance and wow! halsmere studios is the exact opposite of those reviews. i’ve never felt unsafe in anyway. thank you halsmere!

being a student lives here for 2 years, in love with the place. here gives me a chill and safe vibe, allow me to really rest after some learning. Staffs here are all super kind and nice. During the pandemic last year, I was stuck in my room through Christmas, and the accommodation team even sent us a big box of Christmas gifts! thats kinda warm!
