I was recommended to Matt Barton and H4L Cricket, Ashfield, Kent via my previous bat supplier Affinity Cricket. I dropped Matt a note, told him my ideal spec, requirements and asked if he could assist. He was all over email, pinging through pictures of options and could not have been more accommodating. Within days of my initial enquiry, I received the absolute beast – 2lb 9oz of pure, English made craftsmanship 🔥🔥🔥 The pick-up is IMMENSE. The profile is HUGE. The attention to detail, passion and branding is second to none. I literally could not wait to get batting and most importantly, it plays even better than it looks. I have now played a season of T20 with the H4L beast, and it is quite simply, the best bat I have ever had the pleasure of using. My season average ended in the 60s and I had total confidence in being able to play through, or over the top. Absolute Monster of a bat, unbelievable ping. Never fails to get a compliment and I will always be forthcoming with the positive reviews. I went for the TN26 G1 - Grade 1 English Willow with White/Gold decals. The Grade 1 will have 7+ grains and maybe a small blemish or mark on the playing face. I went Grade 1 over Pro, purely down to the fact that I no longer play weekend cricket and was looking for a cost-effective but high-performance bat. My only regrets are that it was only in the back-end of my cricketing ‘career’ that I found the services, exacting craftsmanship, passion and out-and-out excellence of Cricket bat makers like Matt Barton at H4L Cricket. I am now a customer for life, in a range of guises. The H4L Cricket soft goods look IMPRESSIVE also and I will likely purchase before the season. The kids have already got eyes on the old man’s bat, asking if they make junior bats too (they do). This will be the start of a long cricketing journey with H4L 😊. Extremely grateful to Matt and the product I now own and cherish - people do business with people and Matt and his team, are some of the very best. Complete confidence in recommending ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
